How to Add an Email Signature in Apple Mail
Guide to installing your SigCraft AI HTML signature in Apple Mail on macOS and iOS. Preserve formatting with the right technique.

Generate Your Signature
Create your signature in SigCraft AI and click 'Download HTML' to save the signature file.

Create Placeholder
In Apple Mail: Preferences → Signatures → click '+' to create a new signature. Type any placeholder text and close Preferences.

Find Signature File
Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, and navigate to ~/Library/Mail/V10/MailData/Signatures/. Find the most recently modified .mailsignature file.

Replace Content
Open the .mailsignature file in a text editor. Replace everything after the headers with your downloaded HTML. Save the file.

Lock the File
Right-click the file → Get Info → check 'Locked' to prevent Apple Mail from overwriting your custom HTML signature.
